Richard is a partner in the construction, engineering and infrastructure practice. He has practiced as an admitted attorney in South Africa for fifteen years and has developed a unique speciality in construction and project work and tender disputes. He also focuses on all aspects of Business Law.

Richard is a committee member of the Association of Arbitrators of Southern Africa and conducts adjudications and arbitrations in the field of construction and engineering law and business law. He is a member of the International Bar Association Committee on International Construction Projects. He is also a member of the Maritime Lawyers Association and a Commissioner in the Small Claims Court.
